Jevan David (President / Co-Founder) and Shawna David (Executive Director / Co-Founder) have a combined 40 years in the entertainment industry – both on the stage and behind the scenes.
Jevan has managed and directed productions for MTV Music Awards, Macy Gray, Aretha Franklin, Elvis Costello, Earth Wind and Fire and The World Series of Poker. During his tenure as Director of Production, Jevan has set up and established the technical entertainment divisions for many hotels on the Las Vegas strip. Jevan is excited to produce a state–of–the art event that is unique and like no other in the competitive dance world!
Shawna had the pleasure to perform with Les Folies Bergère, Don Arden’s Jubilee, The Killers’“Spaceman” music video and opening gala of Natasha Bedingfield during her professional years. Shawna brings a wealth of experience to the dance world through her love for instructing, choreographing and years on the judging circuit.
With a solid background in psychology, Shawna has designed a dance competition that is fun, fair and positive for everyone. Shawna's dance articles have been published in Dance Informa, Dance Advantage and The Florida Dance Magazine. In addition, Shawna has written a book that focuses on the dance competition industry. On the side, she hosts semi-annual instructional seminars for studio directors and instructors to learn how to increase their adjudication results. Shawna had the opportunity to host a seminar at The Dance Teacher Web Expo in Las Vegas, NV. Shawna is the Artistic Director of AMBITION Dance Workshop. AMBITION Dance Workshop travels nationwide and hosts dance workshops. When Shawna is not on the road, she is sharing her passion for dance in the studio.
