Nisa Hooper

Nisa Hooper has parlayed her multi-faceted experience as a former professional dancer and model into a career as an educator. She has been shaping the lives of her dance students for more than two decades, setting a great example of how to juggle being a successful business owner, choreographer, television personality and an advocate for young women and animals.
Raised in Cleveland, Tennessee, Nisa’s been dancing since she was four years old, studying ballet, tap, jazz, clog, acrobatics, gymnastics, musical theatre, ballroom, lyrical and extreme flexibility. As a child, she was a cast member of the TV Show “Kids Zone “on the CW.
A graduate of Judson College in Marion, AL., Nisa trained under such iconic dance names as Tap Master great Henry Le Tang, A Chorus Line’s Thommie Walsh, The Joffrey Ballet’s Adam Sklute and Ballet’s renowned Artistic Director Jerry Rose, among many others. Nisa’s professional dance career credits include stints in productions of The Music Man; Cats; Cinderella; Alice in Wonderland; Sesame Street Live; Six Flags Over Georgia; Disney World and Tokyo Disney.
In her modeling days, Nisa was featured in ad campaigns for Hawaiian Tropic, The Budweiser Corporation, Venus Swimwear, Ultima Swimwear, Bride Magazine, Southern Bride Magazine, Maxim Magazine, Jezebel Magazine, Pageantry Magazine, CityScope Magazine and Chatter Magazine.
Such an extensive modeling background quite naturally lent itself to an opportunity for Nisa to use her polished skill sets to become a well-known force on the pageant circuit, where she’s served as Pageant Director, Choreographer and Trainer. Many of her clients have successfully gone on to win and hold titles for Miss USA, Miss America and the Mrs. America Organizations. She is the Lead Choreographer for The Mrs. America Organization’s State Pageants of Georgia, Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota. All of her pageant involvement led to national exposure in 2017, when Nisa was featured on TLC Network’s “Toddlers and Tiaras,”as a lead cast member.
