"I just have to give a big shout out to World Class Talent Experience! Yesterday, we had the pleasure of being the first studio to experience this event! It was everything I dreamed of and more! Socially distanced, masked, yet personal and professional. Our dancers loved presenting their competition pieces for adjudication, and taking some wonderful master classes from the judges! It was nice to do it from the comfort of our own studio. What my dancers loved the most was the personal feedback session at the end of the day- where each judge discussed with the dancers all of the things they loved about each routine, and the things they would like to see improved on. Since most of the season will be block scheduling anyway, we would not ever see our competitors. This way we get number scores, critiques, and the personal wrap session (with special awards). It gave the judges a chance to really support the dancers and love on them! It also allowed me to see the professionalism and knowledge that they brought to the table. So many times we have no idea about the excellence of the judges scoring our kids! WCTE had custom pins made for our jackets, and gave the kids gift bags as well. In keeping with safety, we did not allow any spectators -but they set up a private live feed for our families! Many of our dancers aspire to be professionals one day. The individual feedback was the highlight for them."
