Title Division
Title Division Overview
The ultimate honor—the Title Division challenges artists to demonstrate that they are the Total Package.
The World-Class Talent Experience, Inc. Title Division is an unmatched creative distinction designed to recognize performers who excel beyond technical execution.
Artists are evaluated on performance, personality, showmanship, technique, versatility, and confidence. In addition to the standard adjudication scoring matrix, performers will be assessed on the following required elements:
Introduction
Artists will present a brief welcome greeting designed to showcase individuality, posture, presence, personality, and showmanship.
Question
The Master of Ceremonies (M.C.) will pose a question to each artist.
Questions will be selected at random and are intended to highlight confidence, communication, and authenticity.
Versatility
Artists will be asked to perform a versatility combination not to exceed twenty (20) seconds.
If the combination exceeds 20 seconds, a five-point (-5) deduction will be applied.
The versatility combination must differ from the category of the artist’s Title routine.
Example:
If an artist performs a Jazz Title routine, they may not perform a Jazz versatility combination.
A Tap (or other contrasting style) combination would be permitted.
Eligibility & Registration Requirements
Title performers are eligible for Overall Solo awards.
Artists must be registered as Advanced (Class) dancers to compete in the Title Division.
National Title Qualifications
Title Soloists are not required to compete or place, for example; at a 2026 Regional Title Competition in order to participate in the 2026 National Title Showcase Presentation.
Also, as an example; 2025 National Title winners are not eligible to compete in the same age Title Division at the 2026 National Title Showcase.
