Performance Categories Solo — 1 artist Duo / Trio — 2–3 artists Small Group — 4–9 artists Large Group — 10–19 artists Line — 20 or more artists Production — 15 or more artists Production Category Guidelines A Production Routine consists of fifteen (15) or more artists and incorporates any dance style that presents a theme or storyline throughout the performance. Props are permitted. Pre-Professional and Adult divisions are permitted to compete in the Production category. The routine will compete in its calculated age division. Solo & Qualification Policies Artists may not compete against themselves in the same performance category for a solo. If a dancer performs more than one solo, only the highest-scoring solo per dancer will qualify for the Overall Top Ten Solo Division. Registration & Compliance If a routine performs with more dancers on stage than listed on the official registration, the routine will be disqualified. This policy will be strictly enforced.
